Yoga is beneficial for the health in ways that modern science is just beginning to understand. Even though it has been applied with therapeutic intention for thousands of years, Yoga Therapy is only just now emerging as a discipline in itself. More health care practitioners are starting to include yogic techniques in their approach to healing -- and more yoga teachers give a therapeutic intention to their teaching. People who have never tried yoga before are starting to consider including Yoga in their treatment plan.

As science begins to document the importance of understanding the interrelation of all existing things, it looks to Yoga with an intrigued eye, for Yoga speaks Unity in every word. As yoga techniques are researched and new data is gathered, it becomes easier for science and the medical establishment to understand and accept the benefits of Yoga Therapy.

Yet there is still not one consensual definition of the discipline. In order to arrive to an adequate definition and to come up with proper standards for Yoga Therapy, it is crucial at this early stage to properly address some delicate professional and ethical issues. At the same time it is important to educate the general public about Yoga Therapy's benefits and careful use.

Yoga therapy adapts the practice of Yoga to the needs of people with specific or persistent health problems not usually addressed in a group class.

Yoga session focus in increasing energy level and to boost immune system

of this asanas as part of the every day will routine

in order to improved general wellbeing.

Price for the full workshop will be 200 euros (HTVA) will include

yoga therapy kit (2 yoga booster, 1 yoga strap and brick)
plus a manual of the pawanamuktasasa series ...

Participant can also pay for a single class for 25 euro, they must buy the yoga therapy kit for 100 euro.

GYROTONIC^® PRE TRAINING with Boris Cossio

June 6,7,8,9,10 and 13,14 of June 2016

Purpose: To provide a foundational understanding of the Gyrotonic level 1 exercises and prepare students physically for the Gyrotonic Level 1 Foundation Course. During this course students focus on gaining experience, and developing a personal understanding of the exercises on the Pre-Training Course exercise list.

Prerequisites: A basic understanding of the Gyrotonic, level 1, progression I exercises. Students typically take ten or more classes with a Certified Gyrotonic Trainer to aquire enough experience to begin this course. For students who do not have access to Gyrotonic classes, a three day introductory course designed to provide an introduction to the Gyrotonic level 1, progression 1 exercises can be taken before the Pre-Training Course.

GYROTONIC^® LEG EXTENSION UNIT with Elena Spaziani
